Privacy Policy

eContinence AB´s core activity is to provide women treatment for stress urinary incontinence using the Tät® app and treatment for urgency and mixed urinary incontinence using the Tät®II app.

eContinence AB does not collect personal data in the Tät®II app and is thus neither personal data processor, nor personal data sub-processor, for users of the Tät®II app, and thus does not need a privacy policy in the matter of personal data according to the EU Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

eContinence AB does not ask for and does not store any information about name, social security number, e-mail addresses, telephone number, IMEI-code or IP address. The Tät®II app does not support sharing information with other apps, systems, organizations or users.

Users of the Tät®II app that participate in the research project tät.nu at Umeå University will receive questionnaires for research purposes through the research project, and these questionnaires are not included in the Tät®II app and have no connection to eContinence AB.

eContinence AB takes no responsibility for Apple`s and Google´s collection and processing of personal data during the downloading of the Tät®II app from App Store or Google Play. In this regard, eContinence AB refers to the privacy policies of Apple and Google.

The Tät-m app has been launched in collaboration with the Swedish Prostate Cancer Federation

The name of the app has been changed from TätIII to Tät-m and it has a new logo, a new design and simpler navigation. The app is now provided via eContinence AB in collaboration with the the Swedish Prostate Cancer Federation.

Thanks to all men who have responded to the questionnaires over the years. Your contribution has helped to increase knowledge about pelvic floor muscle training and urinary leakage.

Clinically relevant improvement depends on baseline severity

In a recently published study, we analysed how large reduction on the symptom score ICIQ –UI SF was required for a clinically relevant improvement. The results showed that it depended on the baseline severity, more symptoms required larger reductions to perceive improvement. Full-text article available here

Treatment results at 15 weeks are important for long-term satisfaction

At the long-term follow-up after 15 months, 58% of the women were satisfied with treatment of mixed and urgency urinary incontinence with the app Tät®II. In further analyses, important factors for long-term satisfaction were quality of life at baseline, along with ability to endure urgency, and confidence in pelvic floor contraction at short-term-follow up. The Tät® III app in a new updated version

We have previously demonstrated that this app facilitates training for men undergoing radical prostatectomy. More than 10 000 men have used the app. Now, we want to study if the app affects the need for contacts with health care facilities. The app is updated with new content, new illustrations and questionnaires. The app is free to download at App Store and Google Play.
